A sneak peek at WPCREO 2015 product roadmap

A sneak peek at WPCREO 2015 product roadmap

As 2014 ends and we wipe the slates clean to begin a new year, we here at WPCREO want to start a new tradition: a monthly post to keep you up-to-date on the happenings here at WPCREO.

We want to update you on news and informative items we think you will find of interest, and keep you up-to-date on various events and programs WPCREO has to offer you.

2014 has been another fantastic year for us… The WPCREO Business Edition has gone from strength to strength with some major new releases, including “Offline Read” and “AutoSync”.

But, as is customary at this time of year, we want to take a look ahead at our product roadmap for the next 12 months and give you a sneak peek into some of the new features we have planned.

The Business releases has delivered some massive additions to the platform, starting with the full redesign and Windows 10 optimisation,  then following up with the security enhancements and most recently possibility to manage app-user accounts.  Let’s just say, it’s been a busy couple of months…

We have been working hard to improve our integration with WordPress 4.1 “Dinah” and in our latest Business Edition, it will be possible to seamlessly open, edit posts and AutoSync your app content with your native WordPress dashboard.

We know that our existing customers are very excited about having the opportunity to combine the capabilities of “Content Targeting” and “analytics ” into one business solution. Taking the advanced enterprise content management capabilities of WPCREO Business Edition and combining them with the powerful data analytics features open up some very interesting opportunities for sophisticated content marketing solutions. So it is these solutions that we will be focusing on delivering throughout 2015 and beyond.

The WPCREO Enterprise will also continue to evolve throughout 2015 and has an aggressive roadmap of its own which will be delivering key strategic enhancements to the platform and some powerful client-requested features. For example, you will be able to create a campaign for an event that combines a tailored custom content and videos on Xbox One app.

The integration of third party applications has been an underlying theme to what we have been doing over the past 4 months or so, it’s been working hard behind the scenes to integrate our systems with others. We have introduced “Google Analytics for mobile” and other integrations over the past few months and we will be continuing this work throughout 2015.

We will be introducing some exciting new APIs to community of designers in order to create a marketplace for custom and premium themes. A marketplace for both buyers of themes and theme designers -along with some amazing new features that has really set a very high new standard for our applications.

Later in 2015 we intend to release our first API to leverage integration with Internet of Things and Wearables (e.g. watches, sport bands and Google Glass)

I hope you have found this peek into our roadmap and current thinking useful. Obviously priorities can shift and plans can change but hopefully this has given you a good insight into where we see our products going over the next 12 months.
